Over the last few months here at SN we have done a number of things to improve our environmental performance and already we are getting positive results.

Having joined the Carbon Trust, calculated our carbon footprint and offset our emissions wherever possible we decided that the next step would be to switch to a totally sustainable energy provider.

Despite being more expensive (most sustainable providers have a price tag of 10 – 15% more than traditional energy sources) we have already begun to reap the rewards.  Incredible we know but increased awareness coupled with simple initiatives such as switching off lights, monitors and turning down the thermostat by a couple of degrees has already resulted in a drop in our monthly direct debit….

Our small changes make a big difference policy is certainly paying off and yes, we may be a little smug about it but hey, we’re being green AND benefitting from it, best of both worlds I’d say
