Last week the girls of Studio North* kick started Anna’s hen weekend bonanza with some strange but fun activities at the Chill Factor: Tubing! All the plans had been the best kept secret of the office for over a month with Anna not having a clue. 

That takes some going as nothing really stays secret for very long round here, I think not letting the boys in on it helped keep the plans concealed! “Bring something warm & some sensible shoes” were the only clues to the mystery activity, although, Anna did get taunted a few times during the course of the day.

5pm came then off we went in convoy over to Trafford collecting various pairs of ski trousers along the way, getting lost due to the postcode on the sat nav (Kaz!). On arrival we announced the activity to Anna ‘Tubing’ basically hurling ourselves down an icy slope in inflatable donut rings.  Once all togged up in our snow gear we got out to the slopes only to realise that every other person doing the activity was under the age of 12!  So, we felt like big kids & we screamed like them too as we were flung down the slopes helped by the two guys who made very sure we gathered speed as we were sent flying & spinning down the slopes. Certainly not for the faint hearted!

It was all over too quickly really, but the evening was not as we headed back to Chorlton & finished with some great wine and pizzas in Croma (www.croma.biz).  The weekend itself had barely began for Anna as she was off for the rest of her hen do on another surprise trip to her home country Sweden to enjoy more fun!
