Five years loyalty
Gary Butterworth, our first member of staff back in February 2003 recently passed the five years loyalty milestone. “Dirty Garry” as he is fondly known around the office, still looks exactly the same as when he first darkened our doorway.
Still loves Metallica, still obsessed with Helvetica and still gets horny about all things Apple. There is a slight beer belly developing but nothing to worry about just yet. Anyway the boy’s all grown up now and we just wanted to say a huge thank you.
A few of us went out to celebrate this small feat and when Gary grabbed the microphone at the end of the night to announce he was staying for another five years the place just went berserk…
Support for local NACC group
We are proud to report that we are continuing to support the North West group of the NACC by producing their quarterly newsletter throughout 2008. The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’sDisease (NACC) brings together people of all ages who have Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease, their families and the health professionals involved in their care. These two illnesses are both forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and they affect about 1 in 400 people in the United Kingdom.

Or more specifically Rachel aka queen of the blog welcomes you to our weird and wonderful world…not for the faint hearted we offer you the chance to gain some insight into the intriguing creatures that make up our motley crew and which can’t be found in Meet the Team.
Of course we will also be dealing with sensible, note and news worthy topics (not the yawn fest you might expect) including all the goodness we can muster with our CSR, relevent design related news and the fascinating projects we’re tackling at the moment.
It’s an exciting time to be at Studio North (and yes of course I’d say that but it doesn’t make it untrue) and if you want to get involved all you have to do is post….We’re not saying we’ll publish it of course, some of you are bound to need censoring 
But for now all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy, I can’t imagine that will be too taxing and you never know what you might learn….
